We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. Analytics only runs if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner.
If you choose to rate a drum shop, we store your star rating along with a one-way hash of your
IP address. The hash is used only to prevent duplicate ratings — it cannot be used to identify
you, and it is not shared with third parties. We also set a small cookie in your browser
(named rated_<shopname>) to remember that you have already rated a shop.
This cookie contains no personal information beyond which shop you rated.
Rating data is stored on Supabase, a third-party database service. No other personal data is collected when you submit a rating.
